Brief reflection on tattooing
The human body is a very particular one, and through the art of tattooing it is shown as a testimony of its own experiences.
The tattoo and the way we decide to decorate our body, represents the boundary between our inner self and the rest of the world. That world outside and its relationship with the one inside.
By tattooing ourselves, the depths of our experience of inhabiting this world emerge, and as an exercise of sincerity, sincerity both with ourselves and with our environment, we decide to make our philosophy of life evident.
Like texts printed on white paper, it is the ink that gives the meaning and content. And we, like open books, let ourselves be read.
Tattooing is the editorial incarnation, the engraving on skin, expressed through graphics. A body graphic, alive, mobile and changing. A tattoo can be made for different reasons and have different purposes, some of these are:
-Ritualistic
-Ancestral
-Healing
-Therapeutic
-Commemorative
-Memorial
-Narrative
-Decorative
-Ornamental
-Expressive
-Aesthetic
-Identifying
-Punitive
The purpose of the tattoo depends on the cultural and historical context in which it is made. It also depends on the personal circumstances in which the person is when deciding to get a tattoo. And mainly the will and intention with which he/she does it.
It is also influenced by the artist-tattooist's attitude towards his work.

Body as a canvas
The body is the first territory we inhabit, our representation in the world. The only space we can truly consider our own.
This can be accepted, celebrated, enjoyed, modified, decorated, etc. As it can also be corrupted, used, violated, violated, mutilated, etc. But we continue to live in it, feeling every need it has, the pain and pleasure it means to be alive and to have a body. Our relationship with it will be determinant with our experience inhabiting it and relating to it in the world.
The craft of tattoo-artist for me is very important and full of meaning. This practice has not only guided me in the way I work, giving me guidelines on what skills to develop more or less. On what are my strengths and weaknesses as an artist. But it has provided me with a guide in the process of understanding my position and relationship with my environment.
This is why I deeply respect the craft, and in this sense, the art I make, will be exclusively unique and unrepeatable designs, faithful to my graphic style (limited and changing). With the intention of showing respect to the experiences of people, and their bodies; unique and unrepeatable.
