A The Grandfather’s Voice is a book that recounts the story of a girl’s first experience with the ancestral medicine of ‘San Pedro’, originating from the Andes. The narrative depicts the distortion of her reality and how it transforms into a spiritual journey that leaves her with profound lessons on facing life’s challenges.
For this project, I developed an experimental layout with ornamental frames that accompany and emphasize the content, enhancing the saturation of elements to convey the desired expression. As an illustrator and designer, I’m thrilled to have brought this unique story to life, merging visuals and narrative into an immersive experience.
